This design and contract project consisted of a 60,000 m2 climate controlled highbay warehouse complete with three level administration office, smoke management system, dangerous goods storage room complete with mechanical ventilation, hazardous goods controls and an automatic smoke management system.
A Building Management System (BMS) has been installed to control, monitor and analyse the HVAC system as well as interface with other services located around the facility.
The administration office is served by VRF airconditioning systems and energy efficient heat recovery ventilation units.
The warehouse is served by 32, 160Kw roof mounted R32 rooftop package units. Paramount assisted with the development of the first R32 package units to be built and released in the Australian market.
The contract included the supply and installation of compressed air plant and stainless-steel press fit pipework reticulated throughout the facility.
This 66,000 sqm distribution centre will supply over 230 separate Coles stores in NSW and the ACT.
