Paramount began in the late 1950’s under the name of Paramount Home Heating. The company specialised in the design and installation of domestic oil and gas ducted heating systems. It operated out of suburban branches in Frankston, Mulgrave and Templestowe.
In 1965 Paramount Home Heating changed its name to Paramount Home Heating Services and opened up retail showrooms in Caulfield and Canberra selling oil and gas heating appliances direct to the public.
Paramount began to design and install much larger mechanical heating and cooling systems. To accommodate this growth, a larger premises was needed, so in 1975 on a vacant block of land in Mulgrave they set about constructing a new administrative office and sheetmetal manufacturing facility.
In 1977 Paramount moved into their new premises which is still home base today.
In 1988 Paramount changed its name to Paramount Airconditioning Pty.Ltd.
Today Paramount Airconditioning has expanded it’s operations with offices located in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and is widely regarded as an Australian leader in mechanical design and construction across the industrial and commercial building sectors.
